Junie B. Jones

This one stumped me for sure! Emma, turning 7, loves Junie B. Jones and strawberries. Anyone that knows Junie B. Jones knows she likes "smelly" and her books have checker boards on the cover. Put it all together and that is what I gave Emma. She LOVED it! Hope you do too. Enjoy!

Yo Gabba Gabba

Happy Birthday Natalia! Ok my youngest child is 10, so I never had to experience yo gabba gabba. After doing a bit of homework watching a few minutes of the show, I thank god I didn't have to!! Kids love it, Me..not so much. I did like it enough to make a super duper cake from it tho!! Enjoy!

Jason Voorhees!

A friend asked for a Jason Voorhees cake. I have to be honest, I thought it was a hockey player. Sounds like it don't you think?? I was pleased to see I finally got a cake order I could drip blood on. WooHoo! I made his mask out of half gumpaste half fondant and my sister made the knife. Covered in buttercream I think it came out pretty cool. Happy Birthday Derek!! Enjoy!

Jungle Baby Shower!

A simple jungle  design without going overboard with "things" is sometimes hard for me to do! I think I did pretty good and reached my goal. Enjoy!

Wrestling!

Happy Birthday to Alex. A friend of mine by the name of MikeSeege.com aka Magic Mike, needed a cake for his adorable son who is turning the big 4! Alex loves wrestling so we certainly couldn't give him anything but! Enjoy!!

Happy 30th!

Surprise! It's the month of surprise parties! This beautiful wife wanted to surprise her husband with a cake and theme that he loves and proud of. This was not a difficult cake at all. Time consuming, YES, but very easy. The small details like the stitching edges on his badges made a huge impact. In the end I loved the digital pixel camo and simple additions, hope you did too. Enjoy!

Happy 50th

What's sweeter than a daughter throwing a surprise 50th for her dad?? She asked for a cake with a fondant boat that resembled his speed boat, and some 50's on it. I ran with the boat and turned it into a nautical theme. I kept it simple trying not to over decorate, which I occassionally do, so it wouldn't look too childish. I think he was very happy. I know I was! Enjoy!
